Hi everyone

Creditors meetings were today and it was an almost unanimous yes to both of us!!!
I am still shaking with disbelief!! Only modifications were 6 years not 5 (NR but we expected that) and some minor other things but no change to proposed payment.

Still sinking in - feeling very odd about it all but extremely relieved.

To everyone else going through this and panicking - have faith, I was the worst doubter of them all and if I can do it, so can you.

Thanks everyone!!!!

I should have known Melanie it has you mark all over it. I have just read paps other post and for a minute I thought I had posted it as it was identical to everything I think and experienced with your company.

brilliant pap and well done melanie. Great result. Pity about the northern rock 6 year but still a result. Is the 6 year due to a low dividend offer or do nr do this to everyone. They have 33% of my debt.

Thanks everyone

Swardean - I think NR quite often ask for 6 years, we were offering 23p & 24p/£ and NR were joint so they would get 47p/£ but had a fair bit of the overall debt. At the end of the day the original term of the loan would have gone on a lot longer than the 6 years so we were happy to agree to it.

Thanks Pap, same for me, my NR loan has got over 6 years to run, so if it has to be 6 then it still is a lot better than my current situation.

Congratulations again. Enjoy this evening, then down to the budgeting!
