Hi hj

Your Income Payments Order will not be amended after you are discharged from bankruptcy, as you no longer have any duty to the Official Receiver to nofify him/her of changes in your circumstances.

Just to come on this admitedly late!

If you are renting privately do remeber that you will need a guarantor or be required to pay six months deposit!

Basically you will need to plan to get a deposit together.

Anyone looking at rental property please look around and do talk to managing agents. The two I spoke to have admitted they are getting use to IVA associated problems and had some sympathy. However you must be straight up front!

Hi
Ray is correct as this is normally the case when renting through letting agents. However if you rent via a private landlord direct[usually newspaper ads] they tend to only ask for personal references and do not credit check and you will probably get away with the normal one/two months deposit.
