Kelly

Just to answer one of your earlier points, if you are going to propose an IVA based upon a full and final settlement figure from a remortgage - make the IVA offer when you have received an unconditional offer of remortgage, but don't draw down the money until the creditors have accepted your IVA. I call this "leapfrogging" - but I now what I mean!!! Hope you do too.

Hi Melanie

Yes I get you that does make sense, the other company I contacted a while ago said just re-mortgage then we will see so he was getting good money from re-mortgage I take it! Would the IP I choose help me to find a company that would re-mortgage or do I have to do this myself? Hope things can get moving soon as we hope to have work offers very soon I have a second interview for a job I like and hubby might have to swallow his pride and go back to previous job he was ther 16 years though. Keep your fingers crossed everyone. Think I will start collecting all paperwork I will need like bank stats and creditors information I will feel like I am getting somewhere. Oh is there a list of rough budgeting ie £ allowed for clothes, food etc I know every case would be different but would like a guide.

Thanks for your time and help it is greatly appriciated.

I can do more than recommend Tony Parsons, who posts on this forum as "Welshboy" for mortgage advice. He specialises in the adverse credit marketplace, and is very familiar with IVA's.

You can contact him at the following e-mail address and he can get mortgage offers within 24 hours.

I would definitely recommend that you contact Tony. My partner is self employed and the self cert mortgage rate that he has spoken to Tony about is very competative.

Good luck Kelly.
