following on from a related topic maybe members could use this site to rate their ip which would be of help to people considering an iva and which company to go with? i wish i had found the site before i started my own iva. i would like to rate payplan as 5 out of ten. they were extremely helpful before my iva started but now when my income drops as it did last year they ignore the fact i have a shortfall and offer no help or advice. however when my income increases as it now has i,m sure they will be on the fact like a whippet. the company they use for ppi claims receives 40% of any claim which i feel is a shocking percentage especially when people could actually do it themselves for free and i dont feel this benefits the iva as much as it should. looking at my iva details now i dont feel i had a very good deal because of the huge equity payment i am due to release later in the plan but at the time of the creditors meeting i was too terrified to do anything only agree with whatever they said.
anyway enough of my ranting i hope other members rate their provider

There are ratings over on www.iva.com and we advise all those considering an IVA to pay that site a visit.
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.

Foggy provides the correct link here - it would not be appropriate to rate any one specific IP here on an open forum. Best advice is to always speak to two or three before making a decision - you will always get a feel for one more than another...everyone's circumstances differ so therefore the expertise of IP's is important.
