Hi

Taking advice form an earlier post on hear today. Wondered if you do
ivas for self employed. Tenons looking into it a the moment, getting
myself in a bit a state about it all.
If so would I have find all the paperwork again? and would I be charged for the work they have already done?

dont think you would be charged. I believe both Melanie and David both do self employed IVA's but I am sure they will confirm. It is very important to be happy with your IP as you are usually dealing with them for 5 years.

Melanie definitely does - I think David does as well.

I recommend that you contact either of those companies. You would be in safe hands and you know that we would not recommend anyone on here if they were not 100%.

To answer the question which was posed to me - my firm specialises in IVAs for the self-employed and has done for several years now.

I would be delighted to act for you, should you wish to change your provider, but cannot comment on whether Tenons would charge you for work they have already carried out on your behalf, as I do not know the terms of your contract (if there is one) with them.
Regards, Melanie Giles, Insolvency Practitioner

Appologies Melanie, when I first posted I had not noticed that the question was addressed to you. I believe this then lead to further posts going off track. Very sorry will try and look closer next time.

I think Melanie does not mind when questions are asked of her direct that another poster profers his/her advice - that is the benefit of the Forum

I have no problems in other experts answering or commenting on a matter addressed to me if it is a general enquiry and not specific to their particular circumsatnces.
