My IVA was agreed with creditors on November 7th 2005
As I understand it, the IVA remains on my credit record for 6 years. Therefore I was expecting it to stay on until November this year.
Just done a credit check through annualcreditcheck.co.uk, and there's nothing on my credit record, no insolvency or anything. My bank account with Nationwide is mentioned as "ok" all my addresses from the last 6 years are listed as having as association with me.
Is it possible it's disappeared off my credit report already?
Annualcredit check is ok, but you really need to check with Experian, Equifax and Callcredit to make sure what is registered against each of them. Your IVA will be recorded until November this year.
You also need to check whether or not any of your creditors have registered defaults after the date of IVA acceptance - if so then you need to write to the creditors concerned and get them to remove those defaults.

I'll contact the big 3 then, is it as simple as writing to them with a cheque, or is there another way.
Looking forward to being free of it completely - my last payment was in January - at then my payment was £800 a month (they put it from £700 a month for the final year)..so was quite a struggle!
Don't you have to use a debit card to print off online? If so and Cactus doesn't have a card then I think it's two quid a time via snail mail.

I do have a visa debit card - Nationwide decided to give me one at the end of last year - no credit obviously, only pays out if i actually have the money in my account)
I have one of those as well Cactus - worth their weight in gold as I have not had any problems using it anywhere!

Its made life a lot easier, not having to withdraw cash everywhere I go!
Just tried applying online for a credit report - none of them will give it me based on the information I answered...think it might be because I've changed my address 4 times in the last 3 years (work related)
Also just realised I'm not on the electoral roll
I've been asked to apply by post, and another has asked me to call tomorrow
I have checked my credit report with 2 companys so far Experian and Equifax. Neither have my IVA recorded. I have a credit score of 900 with Experian. Then I had a thought, my IVA was joint with my husband. We checked his report on Experian and the IVA is listed on his report. Our IVA creditors meeting was 12 July 2005, so it is due to drop off next week anyway. Even with the IVA recorded his credit score is still 900. Could not do Callcredit online, so will apply via snail mail at some time in the near future.
Have you checked all sections of the report KAYKAY? I believe there is a section to do with court matters?

It is normally under the court heading and reads alomg the lines that all matters have concluded ...I know it shows on Experian and Credit Expert at the moment for us

I agree, and can see the section where is it would be shown, but still not on mine, only my husbands. I am certainly not going to tell them, like I say it is soon to drop off anyway. I do know that if I am asked at any future credit application (not planning any by the way) that I would need to declare if asked that I have been in an IVA even though completed. Would be too scared not to.
