Hi Abbiesmum - when I was setting our IVA'S up one of the first questions I was asked was what is our forum name... this came to me at about 3am last night whilst I was wide awake fretting I just hope this wasn't a snippet of information that was passed to CF

I don't care. They can know my forum name as much as they like and I am sure they have worked it out by now. They just better hadn't breach any confidentiality.

I'd like to be included too please. I'm happy for my details to be passed on.

I agree with you abbiesmum, I really feel like we are being watched, but we are doing nothing wrong other than trying to compare notes, and discuss with others in the same boat because we have no one else to turn to, and are not getting straight answers form CF.
I'm quite freaked out by what they said about 5-6 main characters... Why don't they come on here like mel in the past and representatives from other companies do now??? We are not the enemy, we are their customers. Very upset worried and stressed ones at that.

The point is no-one is allowed access to the IP and the answers we are getting differ from person to person, we are not asking for anything excessive, all of us have followed the rules for the duration and now the goal posts are being moved. I am not a militant, I just want to get through this as quietly as possible, BUT I will not be bullied and I don't want anyone else to be either,The thought of starting an official complaint fills me with dread but what else can we do?

I see a value in taking things offline for contact purposes and perhaps specific things you don't want public.

But I think that the main bulk of communication should stay public on the forum.

If you Google Creditfix this forum is now the fourth link along with a bunch of site-links showing the forum content and it looks negative.

If you Google IVA this website is the second result and the forum is the first site-link.

I cannot believe anyone in this day and age who is considering an IVA would not Google for information on it first.

This is a loud voice.

Without this, we'd be ignored on here.

Hi folks
To contact another forum member add them to your frugal friends on your profile page. And ask them to do the same. You should then be able to contact each other.

These days the 6 degrees of seperation principle applies to the net - only takes about 6 clicks to find anything you want.

Additionally everything posted will stay around for the next few years - somehow I can't see the "right to be forgotten" being an option.
IVA started March 2011, Completed March 2016 and certificate issued 11 days after final payment. It was not always easy but then some of the best decisions aren't.

I should have added that I can see a possibility (knee jerk reaction) that the T&C's are amended to try and stop people posting on sites like this.

I googled iva and found this website over 2 years ago when things got bad. I agree it is a voice and a lifeline for people who keep iva secret from family/friends so yes bulk of comms should stay public. But to be in touch personally too would be a lovely benefit to this situation so we have 'friends' to talk too instead of strangers. Thanks admin

They would have zero chance of that happening.
