Which is most unfair as those of us trying to, or who have addressed our debts, are less likely to make a fraudulent claim.

Dave was refused contents insurance by some companies as I have been bankrupt - now that is definitely unfair!

I'd like to see if there's any proof that insolvent people make more fraudulent claims.

Someone asked about that on another forum and the answer was it's in case a bankrupt tried to hide assets by saying they were their partners.

What a load of rubbish! Insolvent people, I would have thought, are less likely to make fraudulent claims.

I think us insolvent folk should just be rounded up and thrown in a cell for life as we clearly as as bad as murderers and rapists!!!

Cant believe insurance companies take a moral high ground over this,some of the biggest crooks going are insurance salesmen(and women!!!)
Discharged today the 8th feb 2012. View is much brighter now.
Continuing to rebuild our credit worthiness.

One of the companies actually asked Dave if anyone in the household had been BR or had a criminal record as if they were one and the same!
