Can't prise our daughter out of her car, even with the cost of fuel! Unfortunately her boyfriend has eyesight problems and cannot drive, so they obviously use hers. It is such a good feeling when you are no longer a taxi!

Thanks to all.
It is so much harder than when I did it with the theory and all the extra its added. Poor thing has been stressing for weeks and I know the reaction would have not been good had she failed. He boyfriend lives three quarers ogf an hour drive away and she has suffered buses and trains for ages. Though it wont be cheaper if not more expensive, at least it makes her life easier.Though young she has not had it easy of late and this will cheer her up no end .

Ang xx

Well done to your daughter Ang [:)]
I don't think I'd ever pass the test these days, took me long enough the first time!

Parallel parking....... what's that [:D]

Many congrats to your daughter xxx

I am dreading the day any of my kids drive. Oldest is 18 and i still ring him to check where he is whenever he goes out.

I would never pass my test if i had to do it again. Its amazing just how many bad habbits we collect along the way.

I passed my test when I was 17 in an automatic. I re-took the test and passed in a manual 9 years ago. Everyone said that it must have been so much easier as I had experience - rubbish! It was harder second time round as I had so many bad habits - crossing my hands over, speeding, shouting at other drivers etc! Much to Dave's amusement, when I took the test the examiner said if everyone drove like me his job would be easy - I was on my best behaviour! God knows what would happen if I had to take it now though!
