I would just like to use this forum to offer a massive public thanks to Melanie, Marc, Tina & Amie of the IVA Advice Co for their help and assistance in getting my IVA proposal approved at a rate of 12p/£, despite their re-assurances I never thought the creditors would accept such a relatively low return. Amie has been my principal contact and a real rock at times, Tina made a 200 mile round trip for a 10 minute face to face meeting, Marc & Melanie have been totally professional and quick to respond to any queries or concerns throughout. I would always advise people to shop around when looking for someone to help sort their finances - but make sure Melanie Giles / IVA Advice Co are on your list of people to talk too, you will have to go a long way to find better customer service. Thanks all. Steve.

No problem at all Kelly, what a different Country this would be if every business offered your level of customer service.

Looking forward to working with you all over the next few years.

I completed my 60 month IVA with Melanie and could never fault them either. Great news on your acceptance and all the best in your journey to debt freedom.
IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.

I am sure you have made an excellent choice. It may not seem it now and easy to say with hindsight, but try not too worry too much, Mel and team will be there all the way for you I`m sure.

To every one else - many thanks for the congrats etc, it really is appreciated.

abbiesmum, I was watching your thread with interest, I really felt for you with the delays etc, think I would have been pulling my hair out. I was lucky just a couple of minor ammendments that Marc could deal with direct. Good luck with your journey, mine was approved same day as yours - lets hope we both reach our destinations in good time.

hi timetofixit...yes the delay was a tad frustrating but marc kept chasing them and kept contact with me throughout. It wasnt a complex modification or anything i needed to worry about so i wasnt left panicking for a day. When i did get the call to say yes it was such a weight off shoulders. We have lived nearly 3 months as though in an iva so its not really changed much just great to know formally accrpted and we know longer have to deal with aggressive rude creditors.
