The OR will usually allow you to live in the property for 12mths providing you continue to pay the mortgage and any secured loans on it. It is usually 3 missed months before the mortgage/secured loan company will start action against you for repossession. What some people do to raise the cash for bonds and rent in advance by missing their mortgage/SLoan payments.

Hi anfieldbabe

I am back on my phone later in the afternoon if you want me to have another chat with you regarding the options.

Has Manubabe thought some more about the position and the bankruptcy idea?

You still have another 2 mths before you hit the 3mth limit. Pay your mortgage for as long as you can & keep looking around for somewhere to rent. As you're considering br can I ask if you have stopped paying your creditors yet? As soon as you are aware that you will be deaclaring br stop paying your creditors. This can be seen as showing preference to one above the others if you continue to pay. The CAB should explain to you tomorrow when you attend your appointment
