Just wanted to post a very big Thank you to Cleardebt...I started the PPI process with them in Dec 2012 via DRSP. Have filled in numerous forms and finally last week got the letter from Cleardebt to say that its at the end - They have claimed from everyone I & they know and received just over £6300 into my IVA. I returned the form on Saturday signed to say I don't believe there is anything else outstanding. Got a lovely call from my IP at Cleardebt on Monday asking for my bank details so they could pay me my £500 - as it said i would receive the first £500 of the PPI Claims. Had forgotton about it to be honest. I emailed my bank details and they confirmed the money would be dispatched yesterday. Checked my bank this morning and it was there, ready and available.
So a very big thank you to Cleardebt, so far my IVA process has been seemless and I've only got 20 months or so left!
The extra money will come in handy for my few days away later this month to see family in Scotland!

Excellent. It is good to see a firm honouring the promise to allow the debtor some of the "spoils" --- there were, a while back, many stories of being offered various "carrots", but, since then, very few actual payouts.
My opinions are merely that .. opinions based on experience. Always seek professional advice.
IVA Completed 23rd July 2013 .... C.C. 10th January 2014

It is good to see that Cleardebt have finally got their act together and are dealing with PPI cases within the term of the IVA.

It is much better than doing it months after your final payment.

You are on the homeward stretch!
7 years after starting an IVA I finally received a completion certificate from ClearDebt

Yes I am delighted! Really good that they responded so quickly to my signed letter saying there was no more PPI, obviously if something else crops up it will go to IVA, ie my CCP refund of £175, Paid it direct to Cleardebt.
But to receive the £500 so quickly is great and well done to Cleardebt! They have been brilliant so far in my IVA.

Excellent news susieq, enjoy the money.

Nice to hear DRSP have finally closed a case, although not sure any praise is necessary. 20 months for a 35% cut of profits is hardly performance of the year
