Received a letter from Barclaycard to inform me they are refunding £3564.00 PPI, this is after originally informing Equity in Finance (I think 2 years ago) that I wasn't due a refund. I hadn't questioned their original decision, as like most people I wasn't sure if I was due a refund, but turns out they had checked it & came up with the refund.
Now for someone who wasn't sure if they ever had PPI, I think Equity in Finance have now been able to get back over £6000.00. It is definitely worth checking out.
It does look like the banks were trying to get away with paying as little as possible and I suppose that is why firms like ours use firms like EiF. Nice touch for creditors.
Barclaycard have now sent another cheque for £16.81 lol.
This is after firstly telling me I had no PPI & secondly sending cheque for £3564. No wonder banks are struggling if no one can work out what the actual refunds are lol.
