good god,theres a branch in our local high street,where the hell has that been hiding??? Never noticed it before,but I tend to run fast when going past banks in case the managers run out chasing me for money??!!!!

Looks good but I am going to hold off applying until I come off the insolvency register,in case they turn me down for the same reason that co op did.

I applied for mine after my IVA had started -- not sure if I was on the Register then, though, as that took about 6 months to happen!

I know people have managed to get co op savers etc while the IVA is on record but they point blank refused me(even though no credit check is needed),so will wait,hopefully come off the register in the next week to 10 days. May even wait until my credit file is updated to satisfied to increases my chances.

That means the wife and I have seperate little savings pots(the post office online savers),and our main savings can go into the building society.

I have written a letter informing the co op that because they refused me a savings account I have gone elsewhere,but will stick with them for my cashminder account(which I really quite like).

I still cannot fathom out how I havent noticed the yorkshire BS in town as I must have walked by it 200 times!!!
