Post completing my IVA, why have I been turned down for an ISA ?

I'm 6 months post completing of my IVA and trying save, why am earth have I been turned down for an ISA with coop based on credit scoring, seriously!!!!??? To save money??

Your IVA may still be showing on your credit record and the Co-op are notorious for not allowing savings accounts.

Try the Nationwide but as far as I understand it an ISA should not be subject to credit checks.
IVA started March 2011, Completed March 2016 and certificate issued 11 days after final payment. It was not always easy but then some of the best decisions aren't.

Most banks are happy with savings -- co-op, however, feel we should not be able to save !
