hey all, im a year into my iva now and my mobile phone contract (pre iva) is up for renewal does anyone know if i will be credit checked again or as an existing customer will i get away with it. thanks

Ive not had any problems renewing my contract on orange.

I'm with O2 and not had any problems. I think that they just check that you have conducted your account with them properly and if you have then they'll just renew.

Hi Bandit,

My husband has been with T-mobile since the year before our IVA commenced and has renewed/changed his contract several times (last time in October) without any problem. Not sure if this is the policy with all companies so might depend on who you are with.

I think they're pretty much all the same if you renew. It's if you try to change companies that there is a problem.

they did a generic check on us-just name and address so you should be fine-we are with orange.
full and final accepted January 2015

iva agreed; August 2010
iva would have completed; August 2017
extra year thank's to NRAM

I'm with Vodafone and I upgraded without any problems when I was in my IVA and also when I was BR.

I am with Virgin, upgraded to a nice new andriod phone end of last month. Not a hint of a hitch.
