I am currently on hold to Freeman Jones to discuss my IVA. I have been on hold for 47 minutes now, to a premium rate number!! Think its terrible that this is the case when the people using this number are clearly having financial difficulties!! Dreading my phone bill now!
It may be better to send them an email especially if you are on hold this long. We do not operate premium rate numbers and instead we provide a freephone number or a landline number if yoiu are using a mobile. You can also text us and we will call you back so perhaps
FJ have some sort of similar service.
They have two representatives on this forum so contact them and hopefully they can help.
Thanks for your reply. I would have emailed, but dot normally get a response for 2 days and needed this sorting out today. I have been in hold for over 30 mins for the last 4 or 5 times I have rung them. The number is an 0845 number.
An 0845 number is not premium rate, but is charged at your local call rate. It’s just non geographical. However, I do understand that being on hold for so long is the real issue.
