Well I think we all expected it. The people who can afford the 4x4's and gas guzzlers can afford to run them and pay the extra tax on them, increase in petrol, no problem. Its us little people feeling the squeeze, we pay so much for everything here. How many jags does Prescot have???

I cant understand why noone ever mentions the bomb testing thats gone on in the past, what affect did all that have on the environment????

I live near an oil refinnery in hampshire yet petrol is around £106.9. Shouldn't it be cheaper as it isn't transported so far!

Really worries me when oil prices keep rising as I have an oil tank for all the heating.[:0]
We don't have gas as they won't invest in putting it to our very small village as it would not be cost effective.

The good thing is the whole village has come together and we all now sycronize our deliveries and get a bulk load at a cheaper price from the oil company - it saves them comming out to everyone seperately!
Be positive & look after yourself, there are more important things in life than debts....

Best Wishes

Hi wen

I live in taunton and noticed yesterday that the diesel was 1.11. I remember all the fuss when i was almost 1.00 per litre but now it seems everyone is used to it.

Hi Paul, had no idea you were in Taunton! Mr. wen here, currently works at Beefeater White Lodge, and Mrs. wen works at Sainsbury's Hankridge... shame her discount card doesn't cover fuel [:(!]

£1.089 at our local Sainsburys. I notice that a BP petrol station has just shut down in my town - the company has gone in to liquidation, perhaps a sign of the times I fear.

LOL that is spooky. Mrs. wen works nights though, so unless you break in to do your shopping at 3am, she probably doesn't know you [:D]

We hope to go up to a friends meet at some point, so will definately let you know... do our bit for 'Global Warming' [;)]
