Further to my other posts, my CC arrived in this morning's post. It's a great feeling to read in black and white that my IVA is officially over. It states that I have fully complied with my obligations under the IVA but that the Supervisor retains the power to deal with any VAT recovery or pending PPI claims post closure. I'm happy with that and I'll be constantly checking the Insolvency Register to see when I'm no longer on it. It's been a long, hard road but well worth it. I hope this gives support to other IVa'ers that, however bleak their outlook, there will be an end.

Amazingly, I've just checked the Insolvency Register and I’m no longer on it. I thought that it would stay on there for at least 3 months. This was a big negative part of being in an IVA as any nosey parker can have a look at it.
Thanks for the kind comments and Merry Christmas, to you both, too. It was almost 7 months from my final payment to receiving the CC so I hope Foggy will be reporting similar news soon.

Not been on here over the Xmas / New Year hols, but was so very pleased to hear that your CC has arrived and that you are finally debt free after completing your IVA successfully. Hearty congratulations! I agree that it is a great feeling and a lesson well learned. Enjoy your debt free future!

Last monthly payment made 3 June 2013 after 6 long years. CC issued 21 August 2013, but, er, lost in the post. Finally got it 17 September.
Nice to hear from you and thanks for your support last year. It's a great position to be in, as you know, and I hope IVAers who have yet to complete find the postings of people who've received their CC's helpful. There is light at the end of the long, dark tunnel.
