Just wondering if anyone knows if you can use the Paypal card in the post office to pay for postage.

I know I can use my debit card, but wondered if I can use the paypal one.

I've listed stuff on ebay and intend transferring the money to the card so I can pay to post off the items. Saves having to juggle from current account, when postage is in paypal.

TIA [:o)]

I don't see why not, but you'd have to check with the Post Office. You could perhaps send them an email to ask. They're usually pretty good at answering them quickly.

ooo didn't think of that. Will do. I can't see why not either, I know they didn't accept cards for a very long time and debit cards were the only thing at one point. If they accept visa now then there is every chance they would accept paypal, but if they don't accept visa it could still only be debit cards. Will email and let you know.

Just found this on the website

What payment methods does the Post Office® accept?
In branch: we accept cash, cheques and all major credit/debit cards.

Online or call centres: we accept all major credit/debits cards. Please note: we do not accept VISA Electron as a method of payment.

As its not really a major card I have emailed them anyway.

I have used my paypal top up card to do exactly what you are asking leakybrain. That is, to pay postage for my ebay sales at the post office, had no problem at all.

Glad that's sorted out. I shall be having loads of parcels to send tomorrow providing they pay tonight!
