Can't understand why anyone would suggest this? We all want to pay our debts off and pay as much as we can.

JB1520 - I think you should also take everyone's advice - yes it is nice to be able to spend but in moderation and within affordability (I've learn't this much in the last three months of budgetting) - I don't think I could take being in this situation twice.
