Thank-you for asking, phone call was fine, was just to go over the figures and making any adjustments that needed doing - also got a pre proposal to look at and confirm via email and asked to make any adjustments our end if anything was incorrect. we've just emailed this back with a couple of amendments our end but nothing major - just waiting for next step which i believe is either a phone call or meet with Melanie :) x

It will probably be a phone call but Mel is a lovely person - if you want a meet she will be happy to accommodate.

We seem to be at similar stage with Melanie's team. Have spoken to Marc a couple of times now and are going to Cardiff on 17th to finalise our proposal - my husband is self employed so a face to face meeting is mandatory apparently. Relieved that the figures are done - mine is 18p in the £ and my hubby's is 37p in the £ - but now the stress starts again in the run up to the creditors meeting. Hopefully we will get there in the end. Good luck to everyone who is joining us on this journey and hope it's good news for all of us.

If you are self employed then it has to be a face to face meeting. I am sure Mel will come to your part of the country.

Thats great Spanna 1310. Me and my wife met Mel and some of her team a few weeks ago when we were in Cardiff. She was lovely and has been so helpful. Didnt know about Jaffa Cakes though- they are also a fovourite of mine!

Just been watching the news- looks like road tax may be going up again, hitting some of the greener cars that pay low tax[:(]

Yum Yum!

Spanna - we will arrange the meeting in our local office to youy, to avoid an unecessary journey to South Wales - but if you want to come up I would love to see you.

Johndylan - glad to see that you are nearing the end of your journey. Make sure that Marc knows to change your car tax figure to the new amount.
Regards, Melanie Giles, Insolvency Practitioner

That would be about right. I downsized my car to benefit ( amongst other things) in lower tax [B)]
