[:(]

I have had an awful letter!

Strangley though not sure what it is - I know it says court and looks suspiciously like a summons?![:(][:(]

I'm scared......

It is something to do with AMEX.

What do I do?

Hello Marie,

What else does it say on the letter? Is it written to you by the Court or someone else?

Brachers

Defendant

hi marie

i had one of them and i forwarded it to angela - is it a summons for a ccj? i was told not to worry about it because a iva will overide a ccj - i dont think you need to worry but i am sure melanie will advise you!

i think amex try to jump in asap as soon as they know you are trying for a iva, they are the ones who are trying to put a charging order on our property but melanie has told me not to worry as we are in a iva! i am sure before they have chance to do anything serious you will have had your iva approved too, then you will be protected!

try not to worry

listen hun! i know how you are feeling - when we are going through this we have good and bad days! but you will get through this. my advice to you is dont send any more letters, any letters you receive forward them to angela. if the phone calls get too much unplug the phone. any phone messages i did not respond to.

no matter how we try to do the right thing in the eyes of the creditors it wont make a scrap of difference to our iva being approved on the day! some firms will almost always vote yes and some vote no. i believe amex probably vote no if you are a homeowner. i think thats what melanie told me, but she will get the positive votes from your other creditors!

dry your eyes! you are worth more than letting them get to you!

Is someone upsetting my mate?!!!!! Where are they? I'll sort them out! [:(!][:(!][:(!]

I've just popped home from work for something, only here for a minute but thought I would log in, just saw your post. Wanted to say, please please don't get upset, you were looking forward to the weekend and I'm sure Melanie will put your mind at rest, as Barb said, she had one and it was all sorted.

I've got to run back to work but I'll log on later, see how you are. I'm thinking of you hun. Viki X

Sounds like they are going for a CCJ. I assume you are a homeowner? If you are, Not a desperate situation yet but once they have the CCJ they will start going for a charging order.

Bring it to Melanie's attention - she will need to know. Whilst it doesn't mean you have to rush things it certainly means it will be best if you get things rolling properly, if you have not already done so.
