My yearly review is due in a few months and i am starting to worry a bit, my husband and I have both done a lot of overtime i have been keeping half my overtime to pay into my iva i was told my husband did not have to as it is my iva alone. What is bothering me is that my payments might go up next year because of this and this is the only desposable income my husband has, when we first sent of all docs for iva it was to be a joint one so it was worked out on both our disposable incomes but last minute they realised my husband didnt have enough debts so they just took off ammount my husbands debt costs and detucted them so when they are paid fhat money has to go into iva too and it just doesnt seem fair that all his disposable income goes to pay my debts, also this overtime is not gauranteed.

Hi hallway
I would think that only your 50% is due and your husband if he isnt in the iva would not have to pay any. Also do not forget to include any increases in your expenditure over the year and send proof of the rise. Dont worry, tell them the overtime is not guaranteed and that you would rather pay the extra in 6 or `12 monthly as you have shown them that you are saving it. I pay mine in monthly, my choice but I worry i wont hang on to it and if it is gone then I cant touch it. I also keep a spreadsheet of allowances wages in 50% overtime etc so i can keep track and to make sure I dont over pay though if i did they should give it back.
