Just been on the web site and found our names in all their glory on the register, think this is pretty quick considering what some people are saying. Not our greatest achievement, but at least we know we are legally rubbish with any form of currency [;)]

Remember, credit, it's not just for christmas!!!!!!

Be proud - you have acknowleded what has happened in the past, you have not buried your heads and you are now doing something positive to move on with your life.

Don't worry what people will think - those that matter, will be proud of you and will support you all the way. IVA life is not at all bad - it helps you to learn to budget, live well within your means and also appreciate everything that you do in life - whereas life before an IVA was one big "let'shave it" without a thought and then whack ...realisation you have no money!

Keep smiling - 8 down 52 to go!
Sharing from experiences of dealing with debt

There is a solution for everyone .... Just need to stay positive !

I had a bit of a down moment when I first saw my name in what I call the naughty book, I vowed the next time I looked I'd be checking to see if I had been removed as IVA will have been settled. So won't be looking for a fair few months yet!
IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.

In answer to Trickles question, your name will go on the register about 4 days after your IVA has been accepted, this is the web address:
http://www.insolvency.gov.uk/eiir/ you may have to copy and paste as I don't think I've set it up as a link.

No it links fine... Its about as famous as I'm ever going to get!

At least now the only post I get is the junk from all the companies trying to sell me debtsolutions now, rather than final demands!
its a marathon not a sprint!

I'm out of my mind but please leave a message!

Just a thought, but has anyone else played insolvency roulette by typing in names of co-workers who get up your nose, just to see if they are on the register. I know it's a bit naughty but tv not as entertaining as it used to be [;)]

Well Beans on Toast when I very first looked at the register, I admit to having a snoop around! I did find a friend who I know is going on an exotic holiday this year to celebrate a milestone in her life...maybe it's a gift?...I stay right away from it now as it got me a bit down...like I say next time I look it'll be to make sure I'm off it (in a few years time).
