Hi Robbiecat,
I am a veterinary nurse and unfortunately this is the sort of thing we deal with a lot. I'm sure your vet will take great care of your dog and she will be fine.

Hope your pooch gets better soon, she's in good hands. I know what a nightmare it is paying the vets fees upfront, you would think that all vets claim direct from insurers.

It's nothing personal when vetsd won't claim direct but some insurance companies (I won't mention any names) either take forever to pay up or refuse to which leaves the client with the bill. Most clients will pay this but you do get the odd one who dissapears of the planet. And you can't have 1 rule for 1 and a different for another.
