Hi Douglass, in my OR interview, as others have said, he was more interested in the larger amounts and how I'd expected to pay them back. I couldn't account for a large chunk of the money which I told him, and I also used quite a bit to rob peter to pay paul! Just be honest and you won't go far wrong! Regards the bank account - i'm with ThinkBanking and they're ok. Hit a bit of a snag tho when I tried to get a refund on my Maestro card - basically you can't!!! You have to do something called an offline refund???!! And nowadays it's all chip and pin so I had to have a credit note, still at least it makes me think even harder before I spend anything because I know I can't get my money back!!! Oh and my OR refused my request to include the £12.50 charges in my expenditure saying that there were free bank accounts out there for BR's that I could have had (but none that weren't my creditors!!!)

This was at B&Q. I had to phone Think Banking because they tried to process it 3 times. And 24 minutes (on a mobile!!!) they told me it had to be an offline refund - when I told the cashier this she looked at me as if I had 2 heads!!!! The phone call to Think has probably cost more than the damn paint I was trying to take back!!!

i do have problems using the card in sommerfield, bargain booze and hubby has problems when he is on the road trying to get money out of service station atms, as they are the fast atm things, whatever. have had a refund through spar as they took too much also watch this one,my card was declined in the local, (no i am not an alcholic) but the money still came out of my account i wouldn't have noticed but i ring up everyday to see how much has gone out and does it tally, i telephoned them straight away and the procedure was a bit long winded but did get the money returned within 5 days.

Douglass,

I hope everything goes well for you on Monday and will be watching the forums so don't forget to let us know how it went. I don't know where I would be without the support offered by the good people on these forums. Love you all guys!
