Utterly well said Foggy and so very very true.
Thank you for posting this and lets hope that those firms who could do better (not the wondeful IP's who already do) may read it and better understand this issue and how seriously it affects peoples lives.
Thank you sincerely Foggy

here here foggy
fully agree with everything you say and also Mel , Andy Davie & Michael P who we know set the bar in terms of both understanding & client service
I would add that as a former client of DFD , the new team in place there seem to be making great progress from the mess DFD had gotten into in the last 2 years , but obvioulsy have a huge backlog of issues. Equally its promising that DFD have numerous forum representatives now; again a huge step forward and a good indicator of their commitment to improve.
My unhappiness with DFD 12-18 months ago was their complete indifference and lack of interest in answering my enquiries with a client specific update , preferring to read the words from the standard script meaning they didnt have to look into my enquiry and could just dismiss it once they got me off the phone....Thank god for Judith Anderton.
And as for EIF , what a complete joke this set of incompetent fools are , although im sure DFD didnt realise this when they instructed them.
Everyone waiting completion certificates yes its damn frustrating and can hold up getting on with the rest of your life, but it will be well worth it when the non descript piece of paper known as a completion certificate arrives ( I was gutted when mine arrived I was expecting a certificate like i got when I did my 10M in the pool 37 years ago !! ) Mine took just under 7 months following my last payment
everyting you said as usual is correct Foggy , but hang in there , the hardest bit is over, albeit you now have the waiting game
best wishes all
