Worried now. Our joint disposable income is around £300! We have roughly 31k worth of debt. My income is really low, I really only earn pocket money compared to my hubby, does that mean I could be rejected and my hubby accepted? Or both rejected as our disposable is so low[:(]
No don't worry thrifywitch - there are all different amounts of repayments. Your IP wouldn't have proposed an IVA if they didn't think it had a great chance of being approved.
There have been lower payments than yours accepted.
Your DI is fine and your debt is low compared with some. Mine is over 80k.
You have a great IP working for you and I'm sure everything will be fine.

The greatness of a man is not in how much wealth he acquires, but in his integrity and his ability to affect those around him positively.

It's all very individual and depends on your circumstances, income and DI.

I found it just before entering the IVA, but was happy with the service from Payplan, although I would have chosen a different IP if I had found this forum first.

Not really a relevant question as others have said its all about what is affordable but I am surprised at Mels average case total of £350 a month. I thought it would be much higher, nearer 500-600.
