Just another little word Grant Thornton are doing a wonderful job and all of you out there who were with Blair Endersdby and have been transferred don't feel neglected they are working just as hard on our behalf even though a lot of us are at the end and there is nothing hardly in it for them, I had a really in depth conversation with the lady this morning and said I understood the workload they had taken on she was sooo nice. They are doing thier very best under tremendous pressure. Wonderful people and at least you get to speak to someone who understands the strain of it all.

what a heart warming post, well done! i know how you feel about helping children out - grown up one's! our son has to return to uni next year(he has to do a yr in industry 1st to be allowed to go on to the next stage). we won't be able to help him next time as we'll still be paying mum&dad back(they lent us £ to do a f&f iva).

i'm sure once you save up you'll treat the newly weds to something nice.you're in a better place now, well done x

Hi Rosepetal, well done on completing yours, it doesn't seem to matter were we are in the family chain, the unconditional love wins hands down. My children have been so good with me and hopefully one day I can help them like your parents have helped you, I know I have helped them along in the early stages of the housebuying and getting stuff but they have well paid me back, it is now a wonderful feeling that I can spoil them all over again. silly me for getting into this state in the first place. Good luck for your son xxx

Well after a along night waiting, we have got 100% yes vote for the variation and to conclude after the 5 years, been a long hard slog but so worth it, A very big thank you to Grant Thornton who under tremendous strain have done a wonderful job. We couldn't remortgage but hubby has been off sick for the past couple of months, just for the ones who don't know.

We were with Blair endersby so GRant Thornton have taken over a bum deal really and done a brill job for us.[:D]

It is so worth the cutting down and the learning curve, what a feeling I feel 10 years younger and so appreciate everything that has been done for us over the past 5 years, all the help I have received from my children with unexpected car hiccups. My only regret was my Son got married 3 weeks ago in Cyprus he paid for us to go but we could not afford to buy him anything, so now we can try and make amends big style.

THANK YOU GRANT THORNTON

Just a little note from me 8 months later, still waiting for the certificate and still on the insolvency register, phoned loads of times and been told the last chance letters were going out beginning of March and they had 28 days to respond, also been told its due to the VAT, not sure what is happening but hoping to hear something in next couple of weeks, hubby just got a job last week after almost 12 months off work, I changed my job but its only until September so really nothing changed for us we are still very frugal and even do home brewed wine now which I wish I had found about 6 years ago, its fab even better than the £3 bottle from Aldi, works out at £1 a bottle so can have a drink when ever I want now. Will let you know when we receive the certificate, however think all our debts should drop off in August, certificate or not anyway good luck to you all, a lot of you will be about 8 months further on now than when I last posted ans so much nearer the end. Pam xx
