If you ask them to do a cash trace to see if rbs have the money or its bounced back to them you'll be able to sort the problem out and you'll stop gettin hassled for it.

personally i would quit while your even and tell John Lewis to take it up with RBS if they want the money back, you haven't done any thing wrong

Oh I'm not going to ring again unless they contact me, Ball is in their court, hopefully RBS refunded them
