Hi all, so my meeting is 11th Jan at 2pm. I read on here that you have to offer as near to the dividend as possible. Is this the dividend that was set at beginning of iva ? If it is my dividend was 35 p in the £. My full and final offer of 5k gives them 46p in the pound.. what do people think ? Likely to be accepted??

Company unlikely to put it forward if they didn't expect it to be accepted.
IVA started March 2011, Completed March 2016 and certificate issued 11 days after final payment. It was not always easy but then some of the best decisions aren't.

That's the key message over the last year from other posts.

It costs them money to call a meeting.

We are a few weeks away from our final payment but do wish we could have done a full and final and ended it far earlier.

Good luck from me too, your IP will have put the best offer out there, have faith in them. Be good if you could update us with the outcome.
IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.

Just looking at my paperwork... has like a balance sheet. Says client receipts then payments etc. Says 26312 k ....then says payments nominee fees, supervisors fees payments to creditors then say client refund 2k what's that mean ?? Then says at bottom...balance in hand 4362 k ...

I was supposed to pay 27686 over 6 years. Paid 24078 up to date and work have offered f and f gift of 5 k to pay it up and close it. So total of 29078.

Can anyone make sense of what all this means ? Thanks in advance

Perhaps the £2k relates to a PPI reclaim but I am only guessing. Seems a good offer though so very best of luck.

I take it the £3161 is the amount owing on the IVA? Don't forget that you will always owe the full amount of your debt to the creditors so you may not get anything back.

They will let you know after the meeting.

Ok kallis so I had the iva confirmed That I would pay 27686k at 35p in £. I have contributed up to now 24555k with ppi amounts.and extra wages and have offered a 5k f and f so a total of 29555k. Giving them 46p in £. I don't understand it really

My original debt without iva was a Total of 43 k

You will still owe the full amount until the IVA is completed so they may still take the full amount.

The offer is a good one but I doubt you will have anything returned to you.

When you say the full Amount the iva amount of 27686 that was agreed. Or the 43k that I had of debt before iva was set up?
