Just checked my noddle credit report and all my defaults have dropped off, i have a credit rating of 1

and my iva didn't close until july last year so a few months to go. but what a relief to see virtually nothing on my credit report, just a bank account and phone bill and my credit catd which is paid off monthly.
Desparately need a newer car, looks like i need my little citroen to keep going until july before i can replace with a hp one, but on the positive im saving money each month as well.
So in summary there is an end in sight!

its an odd feeling isnt it, one month 3 million red little 'D''s next month practically all gone, its like your living room when you put the christmas decorations away!!!
Each month your rating will go up by 1 till about 3 then it usually takes a good 6 months to get to number '4' depending on how your rebuilding your credit rating!
IVA completion and certificate received 08/10/2012!!!

I'm looking at mine regular now but not doing much as I've not got my certificate nor has 6 years passed since taking out the IVA but I'm understanding it a bit better as time goes by.
Glad things are looking up for you antm. x
IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.

Nothing really happens to your credit rating whilst that horrid IVA sits in public record....a horrid fact but a true one. Its that all importent six year mark, your noddle takes a bit longer, six years and one month to be exact! Callcredit are the quickest to clear up your file, but noddle only update from callcredit once a month hence the time.
Equifax tend to put you IVA in the "NOC and you'll have phone them up and get it removed or it'll stay there forever.
But once that's done and all defaults have gone your credit rating goes epic overnight, your noddle typically will go 4/5 and you can expect your Exprian score to be in the excellent segment.
Its almost a paradox..

To be honest im not doing much but guess i should do a bit more, my barclay card has one small use each month, normally half a tank of fuel then on payday i pay it off, normally before the bill. My o2 bill is shown on the credit report and my bank accounts which never go overdrawn.
Just keep tracking it month by month, hopefully soon will have it fixed and back to pre-iva status.
