Hi there. Just after some advice really. I started my iva in November 2009. October last year i was given the money to clear my iva, went through all the right process and my offer was accepted by my creditors. The only thing was one of the creditors wanted to change something on my proposal, i don.t know what as my iva company deals with it all. Every week since then i have rang up to check progress and nearly 6 months on there has been none. What else can i do because its really bugging me now as i'm nearly debt free but the waiting is getting past a joke

Hi and welcome to the forum.

If you had a full and final accepted I am not sure why a creditor would want to change the proposal - the whole idea of it is that your IVA finishes.

You need to speak to your IP directly rather than the office staff to try and sort this out.

Which company are you with?

I don.t know why its taking so long. I.m with Blair endersby and trying to speak to my account manager is pathetic he is like golddust to get hold of there.s meant to be a 48 hour ring back but he never does and the rare occasion he does contact he tells me the same thing. All i ever hear is no. Progress yet still with the drafters who are dealing with trecks or something like that
