York or Leeds would be fantastic, I would definately come if the meeting was held in either of these places at any time of the year.

Same for me any are quite easy to get to. I am Birmingham but was thinking Derby or Nottingham might also be a good places. Newcastle I think is a bit too North and agree with Melanie, York might be good as well.

I'd love to come to the next one! Anywhere from Birmingham to 'up' north would be great! So long as there's a train station and a cheap hotel I'm easy [:D]

Birmingham would be good for me - I'm in South Staffs so it's easy for me to get to.

Anybody else who is interested in attending the frugal friends meetings, please post. Wanted to bring this back up as they tend to get missed when they move down.

I thought I posted yesterday but I mustn't have hit the send button! I'm in Liverpool so can do North West. I could also do Newcastle as my best friend lives there and I could make a weekend of it, (but could only do Newcastle after restaurant sells cos no way could be off all weekend! BOO! [:(] ) If it's on a week day I can do anywhere! [:D] Viki X

Manchester (stay with family)
Nottingham

The above are my chosen locations in order of preference.

I would bring my husband along with me too.

Liverpool would be perfect, I'm also near Manchester and Warrington. As it's on a Saturday hubby and I couldn't take the night off together so it would be just me until restaurant sells then both of us. We would drive back not stay. I probably would want hubby to come with me so might wait until restaurant gone, I'm too scared to come on my own! [:I] Viki X
