i looked at a few.. think it may be just as easy and less expensive to drive. probably cost about £20 in petrol hubby thinks. We can then leave when we feel like it or have a look around as well. looking forward to meeting everyone as well[:)]

Thats what we are going to do. The train is no quicker either really so we will drive. It would cost us I think over £100 with the train so much cheaper to drive.

Are they giving a special rate for the forum meet or is it that anyway - what I mean is do you have to quote where you from so you get a special rate. Hoping to be there with husband (although he doesn't know yet).

It is the general rate they are offering at the moment Elizabeth ... I booked via the link that pixie posted yesterday ... here it is ..

Your husband will be really pleased he came ... once he realises he's there ... !!!

Debbie

P.S
I have changed my avatar everyone to reflect a fresh, blossoming phase of my life ... since having my F&F accepted last week ... which is really still only just sinking in!

Sorry Soulgrowth, had to shorten the link as a long url throws out the column width and forces everyone to scroll.. to anyone wanting to use the link, please paste both lines !

Where do you live Lesley ... hopefully Andy's roadshow will be coming to a town near you soon [:)]

I have to say that I am not a very 'friendy' person, much preferring to keep myself to myself ... but I these gatherings are really so great that I really look forward to them ... indeed I am a veritable Andy's roadshow groupie.

going to see what I can do before the hotel gets booked up with Frugal Friends - sounds like they won't know whats hit them. I haven't been able to build up any contingency yet so not sure where the money's coming from but should be able to sort. Its Philips birthday the week before - I will tell him its his bday present[:D]

Barb, I think you and I live in the same county (Staffs). I will be going to the next Midlands one and will look forward to meeting you and everyone else who goes.
