She got really annoyed with me yesterday, but i had a great day, watched the football in the pub, only cost me a pint and half for the lady! went home cooked dinner and generally relaxed. I did agree that once a month she could go shopping, we do have a holiday in 8 weeks so i know she needs some stuff, im happy to sit on a beach in my Villa shirts for the week, not sure if that will go down well :-)

nepensioner , he wants to do the full trip, cruise down the river, terracotta warriors, wall, shanghi, there is one called the Highlights of China tour by travlsphere that is more or less what he wants but he also wants a few night stay in Hong Kong and then a week in Japan. Think it is going to be a build your own type of holiday, we are expecting it to be around £2000 each minimum.

Pandy, I want to do the whole China thing but also have problem of brother offering to pay for trip for me to Aus and NZ and wondering how I can do it all together stopping off in Cape Town enroute, or do two separate trips. Did Hong Kong many years ago so not too bothered, also its always the question as to whether to try and do really cheaply or make it a trip of a lifetime. Having worked in travel know you only get what you pay for. I also know if I made a New Years resolution to stop smooking would get there a h*** of a lot sooner[:D]

No resolutions as such for me, I just hope to not have any major car trouble, appliance breakdowns, major house expenditure and to stay in work.

Right! Here is my list!

1: STOP biting my finger nails!
Done this since I was a child & my nail biting is really bad, Ive tried everything! I want to have nice finger nails & paint them!
2: Lose the tyers!
5ft 3 n currently around 11st, Im really unhappy with the wobbly bits!
3: Quit smoking for good this time.
Difficult one for me & Ive tried a few times & always stopped in pregnancys, but this is the first time Ive felt like "I want too".
4: Stick & commit!
I dont stick to things that I want to do for myself n let other things take over, so we will have to see if I manage any of the above!
Final IVA payment made in April 2013, never ever thought we could do it or get through it but we did! X

Ooo only just seen this one. Well my resoluations are not resolutions cos they never get stuck to so I decided instead it is a list of things I would like to achieve this year.

1. Declutter parts of the house and get rid of boxes of things that have been waiting to be ebay sold for 5 years LOL.
2. Do a little bit of exercise a day, whether its wii fit, steps on the stairs or 10min on the vibration platform.
3. Take better care of myself and my appearance..am so fed up of hair and skin and yukky look.
4. Lose a bit of weight. I really do need to lose loads, prob about 6 stone but I'd be happy with just a couple to start with....esp with the success of Helen's loss.

Wish me luck LOL

Good luck Karin, and you should definitely use Helen as an inspiration! I'm afraid I cheated with my weight loss, but I do feel so much better for it.

I'm afraid my hair is extremely short and I never wear makeup at all, so not too bothered about my appearance!
