Thanks Jan...I think I'm so used to working 100 miles an hour it was strange! It didn't feel like work at all!

I got off on the right foot ( I think) I arrived early and couldn't get in, so this chap came along and let me in, then I asked him to show me where HR dept was. I then asked him to show me the kitchen, toilets etc..when I was waiting. He duly gave me the grand tour. I then said "and what do you do?" in which he replied, "I'm the MD" [:D]

He did laugh though and it was one intorduction out of the way [:D]

Had some briliant news.....an old friend of mine was struggling with finding a new job, so I created a new CV for her and gave her a few interview technique lessons ( do as I say, not as I do [:D])

Anyway, she has just landed herself a new job!! Furthermore its one that she didn't think she had a chance of getting. I am so happy for her [:)]

Excellent news Julie - glad your friend got a job.

Could do with your help when daughter manages to get an interview for anything! You're obviously doing something right![:D][:D]

Jan you know I'll help if I can. I think I'm just starting to realise that I've been helping people all along to get into work but just saw it as part of my job. Now I'm doing it because I want to.

I'm jobsearching for some colleagues who also took redundancy but have had no luck yet. I hope I can help them too.

It must be hard for you Mrbluesky...relieved you have secured employment but you're still seeing people you know struggling.

It is so competitive out there at the moment and withiut a good CV to get you the interview then you're on the back foot.
