Well I spoke to Melanie from Jones Giles today and went through everything. We feel so much happier and believe that we are now actively doing something positive about our debts instead of being stuck in a vicious cycle.

Ive cancelled all direct debits for loans and card payments, wrote letters to each creditor which will be posted tomorrow and will hopefully have nearly everything ready to post back to Melanie by the end of the weekend.

I just hope we are doing the right thing. We are a bit worried about the hassle we may get from creditors but hopefully it wont be for long.

Ben

Hi you're certainly in safe hands with Melanie and her team, I'm a client of Melanie and have never regretted entering my IVA. All the best and let us know how you progress won't you? x
IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.

It's scary facing up to debt, but you're doing well!

Melanie's team come highly recommended and as you can see other posters can give you first hand experience of the company.

You may get phonecalls from creditors, but Melanie will advise you on what to say/do.

Good luck and please keep posting xx

You're with an excellent team, so no worries on that score.

Any problems, worries etc you have, post on here and there is always someone around to help you.

I think it was my colleague Melanie Nicholas that you actually spoke to - confusing having two Melanies in the same firm! - but I hope to speak to you personally very soon Ben.

Thank you for choosing my firm to represent you.
