Not really Sensible, but I would get it sorted as soon as you can and then relax. I can understand your annoyance, as it does not seem that you have been receiving a great service from your firm.

Thanks, Melanie. That's reassuring about the time limit but I will contact them on Monday.

Sensible there is nothing stopping you from downloading and filling in the form yourself, the standard text for a notification restriction is as follows;

RESTRICTION: No disposition of the registered estate by the proprietor of the registered estate is to be registered without a written consent signed on behalf of xxx

Where xxx is the detail of your IPs registered office and phone number. At least you will have done your part…

Skint

RX1 forms only relate to property owners, and are only required if specifically requested by creditors or if your IVA proposal provides for you to complete and file one.

At last I got a completed RX1 in the post today. As far as I can see it is filled in correctly so have signed it and posted it back. The covering letter only asked for my signature, not my wife's. I suppose they will send it back to me if it needs my wife's signature as well. She is happy to sign it if necessary. That's the last loose end tied up now - only 55 payments to go!

It definately needs your wife's signature if the property is jointly owned - so I imagine it will come bouncing back!
