I finished my IVA last June so my 6 years was up this June. I have checked all 3 credit reports and IVA was still showing. Equifax and Call Credit have updated theirs upon receiving a copy of my CC, Experian are still pending. I've been in a managed account since the start of my IVA and now want a standard account, Nationwide or Halifax hopefully. I am just nervous to apply in case they turn me down. Has anyone had this problem post the 6 years or am I being too nervous?

I would ensure all defaults and all mention of IVA is off your credit reports before applying. We have tried Halifax but were told to wait for 12 months post clearance. Nationwide has been supportive to some members on here so maybe worth given them a go.
Good luck and let us know how you get on.

There are no defaults showing thankfully, just the IVA. It is frustrating because I got my credit report after the 6 years so it should have dropped off automatically. I sent them a copy of the cc 2 weeks ago now and hope that they contact me to confirm it has been removed as I am reluctant to try and open a new account until they have. As it is over the 6 years surely it shouldn't have an adverse effect because it has technically expired but I don't have much trust in the back/CRA's.
