I don't doubt it is - we don't think it is trivial. It has to be dealt with but we have had other posters in a similar position and they have been ok.

Fingers crossed for you.

Don't worry Tara - we are here for you. It's not trivial to you and that's what matters.

Explain that you forgot due to the items being buy now pay later and that as the payrise cancelled out the tax credit drop then it simply didn't cross your mind.

Remember that your IP will probably spell it out that you have neglected to tell them about things but that's their job and then you can get on with finding a solution. Personally I would ask for the catalogue debt to be included in the IVA and maybe extend to ensure the other creditors receive the same dividend.

Let us know what they say on Monday and try to put it to the back of your mind for the rest of the weekend. It can get sorted.

If they say it cannot be added, I would ask for a payment break to clear the debt. YOu may have to make it up over X number of months or you may be able to add it onto the end of the term.

Good luck. See if IP can add the debt? If it isn't a large % of debt they may agree to add.
Husband pay rise is it greater than 5% net? If not really can't see it being an issue your p/£ is higher than mine & my IP was fine with mine.
The road is 72months long starting September 2010.

Tara thats brilliant news and by raising this issue you will have helped many more people who are in the same boat, and are scared to phone their IVA firm.

They are not monsters. They are paid to try and keep the IVA running smoothly from both creditors and debtors side of things.

They cannot help if they dont know there is a problem.

Sleep well tonight Tara!!

Really pleased you got it sorted Tara and it will inspire others too. IPs are there to work with you and ensure an IVA continues to run smoothly or to address issues if they arise. Glad you found eveyone on here - they will be a great support to you along the way.

That's great news Tara. I bet you sleep well tonight!

Stick around on the forum - it'll help you through the IVA to have people in the same boat you can interact with.
