Oh bother
It turns out, the new remortgage offer is going to give us a few hundred less than we need and thats without taking into account a variation fee.
I had to put the offer in regardless as the interest rate would be changing at midnight tonight.
I think this might be dead in the water. I am going to have to offer it though in the hope that my IP will be honest with us and either put it to the creditors or tell us how much more we need to go for.
Things just get better and better

Skint half an hour of your time could save you hundreds if not thousands. In most instances any broker could get the valuation re-written SOME brokers offer free valuations - obviously it's up to you, but to come so far...

Tony Parsons, who posts on this site as Welshboy, has been known to get mortgage offers within 24 hours, and has done this for me on two cases quite recently. It might be worth giving him a call to see what he could do.

I would not have thought that a slightly lower offer would make that much difference, but what your IP will need to see is an unconditional offer of funding to you so that they can make an informed decision and therefore put forward your best offer to creditors.

The few hundred pounds to which you refer, probably will only effect the proposed dividend return by a penny or so, and don't forget that Max Recovery are likely to make a handsome profit as they probably did not pay too much for the debt in the first place. This creditor are particularly commercial and sensible when it comes to reviewing full and final settlement offers.

I suppose im just hoping they accept a few hundred less or we can raise slightly more if the IP doesnt think it stands a chance.

The biggest problem is, KMPG represent the majority debt so im not so sure if they would accept
Im so sorry for going on but i have got myself in a right state now.

I know the team at KPMG very well, and can assure you that they will review your variation report with great care and will take a sound commercial judgement as to its merits, so long as your IP reports to them appropriately. If you are putting your very best offer forward, I cannot see that you will have any problems on the day. Have you asked your IP if they will be prepared to waive their variation fee on this occasion to try and help? I would be prepared to do this under special circumstance, expecially if someone's home is on the line.
