my iva firm have told me it sounds like a reasonable offer and told me to get a firm remortgage offer so i suppose they must be confident

They are forms from the broker, we have signed them once before but as we upped the ammount very slightly, by the time it was done the date was wrong so just need to do up to date ones

No application form. Everything was discussed over the phone and posted out to us to read, then if we agreed ammounts and such like it was to be taken from there

As I said sounds like you are on track - better gets those forms back ASAP so you can get your property valued.

If you don't mind me asking what lender and rate did they manage to get you? I only ask, as, as you are probably aware a lot of lenders rates have recently gone up.

I would have a ring around and get a few more quotes from other brokers - just to make sure you have the best deal available to you.

We are actually on quite a high rate already so its not so bad and best of all it brings the payment to just under what we pay now between mortgage and iva. Hopefully after the fixed 2 years we can remortgage again and get a much better rate
