Just a little heads up to people on how things have changed since the iva approval.
1]We dont fear nasty letters dropping on the mat, in fact they mean nothing anymore.
2] since changing our number we get zero calls from creditors or anyone come to think of it.
3] Ifeel no pressure at work to chase every penny just to pay the credit card bills.
4] we quite enjoy going shopping and its rewarding to save a buck or two, its become a bit of a game.
5] My blood pressure is the lowest its been for over 3 years, what does that tell ya.

I dont expect it to be plain sailing all the way but two months in and its a good start.

It is a great feeling isn't it?

Glad things are going ok for you.

Good post MarkyB, IVA's can be tough but can also be satisfying, I know I'm doing all I can to address my situation and the stress lifted from me is incredible in respect of paying bills.
IVA final payment left the bank on the 26th January 2013...looking forward to a debt free future.

Know just how you feel, the relief of the phone calls and the nasty letters ceasing.
And knowing that something is being done.
all the very best for now and the future .

I know just what you mean. We've just made our 2nd payment and I love it even at the end of the month when the moneys running out, just knowing that at least when the DD's have gone out whats left is yours and now we at least have something left instead of just getting deeper and deeper into trouble. I am the happiest and most content I have been for years!!

isnt it strange, and goes to show how we all underestimate the effect that money problems has on our life.
