My friend has debt collectors after her and has not seeked help by anyone. Before she gets in to trouble i would like to give her some advice. She owes roughly 15 thousand pounds of which i am aware, this does not include friends she borrowed from.
Please advise.

Hi suz and welcome to the forum.

I think your friend could do with going to the CAB and go through her income and expenditure so they can point her in the right direction or possibly negotiate with her creditors on her behalf.

That's good advice from Mrs S. She should ask the CAB for her options and whilst there are some gaps in the info provided I suspect Bankruptcy may be on the agenda.

Alternatively, depending on where she lives, she might well be able to get a free face to face with an Insolvency Practitioner who will be also be able to point her in the right direction. A great many of my profession will give free advisory meetings.
