Our dog chews her paws.. she has steroids so they can't be itchy. Jut think its habit now, just like biting nails... they're more human than you think

had a call from the vet this afternoon, had to go say goodbye to oliver, he had caught a infection, and they couldn't save him. my husband went in and he wagged his tail, my husband held his paw, and they put him to sleep. I am totally devastated. It hurts so much. He was only 5, and he had had all his injections, its just not fair. I feel like my heart has been ripped out, and i have just had to move his bed, and toys from the kitchen

Empty pockets never held anyone back. Only empty heads and empty hearts can do that.

Debbi I am so sorry to hear about Oliver, you do not expect that sort of thing to happen to an otherwise healthy 5 year old. My dod was 5 last month and I know how devestated I would feel as he is my world.
I have tears in my eyes reading this as am imagining what you are feeling, take care of yourself hon xx
Be positive & look after yourself, there are more important things in life than debts....

Best Wishes

Debbie

I am also so sorry to hear your news, I have been out all day and hoped that it would be good news rather than bad for you this evening. I know first hand how upsetting this actually is, and for a little friend who was so young it must be devastating for you and your husband.

I know it is probably not the right time to say this, but don't leave it too long before you get another puppy. Pets bring such joy and comfort, along with unconditional love and loyalty, and at the end of the day Oliver has gone to a safe place and will be in your hearts for a very long time, God bless him.

Debbie,

I am so very, very sorry to hear your news. I'm late to this as I have been offline all day. We'll light a candle for your boy as he journeys to the Rainbow Bridge.
