Good luck with the move Susie!

I'm glad you are getting the chance to really start again, I hope you have managed to find a cork screw!! [}:)]

I am going to have copious amounts of rose my self but a bit later on as the wee lad tells me all the statistics re binge drinking and goes on about how early it is etc etc. He's 9 yrs old and needs to chill out! You can't enjoy a drink with him, so will wait till he's holed up in his room [:D][:D]

My revenge will be sweet when he is going out with friends all the time...[:D]

Revenge is great isn't it. I've got 2 nephews and they are 27 and 25 this year and I've got lots of baby pics to show the girlfriends.

Update on corkscrew. Still unable to locate one and all the screw drivers have been packed.
Hugs

When I have been without cork screw I have gone to the pain of pushing the cork into the bottle. Not ideal but has the desired affect. [:D]

I will be opening mine at about 8pm so will raise my large wetherspoon measure to you and your move! X

Thanks Marie.
My mates taking me to dinner tonight so I suppose I'd better be good. Just wanted a glass of wine to chill after everything. Not to be I suppose. Unless you can tell me what you use to push it in.
Hugs

I was a bit worse for wear and I believe I tried using my finger (snapped my nail). Then I use the end of a spoon. As the cork flew in the bottle it tipped over and covered my white dress in red wine - a good look eh! I'm not safe to be let out whilst drinking alcohol. I tend to have a drink in doors. When I go out with friends I tend to stay 2 drinks behind everyone else and have lota of water.

Enjoy your meal. x

Marie, it's good to see that your son is being very sensible in his attitude towards alcohol, especially when you see news reports and see how old some of these young binge drinkers are!

And it's nice that he cares about his mom as well!

Sue how was your meal?

Did you manage to get the cork out of the bottle?

I mentioned my faux pas with the cork to my friend and she just laughed and said that's not the worse thing you've done though is it......I don't know what she means [:D]

My bum is already on the floor and I've pumped the bed up twice in the last hour. I wouldn't mind but I have so much extra padding on me but it's not helping (hee hee)

Oooh toothache is one of the worst pains ever. Do you have disolvable tablets. If you have disolve them in warm water swish round your mouth then swallow it.
