We are in the process of moving house and we have had to hire removal van which has eaten into our budget . If we cant afford to pay our iva amounts this month what should we do as we are struggling .

Hi Rachell ... good luck.

I would think that this would be a prime example of a valid opportunity to ask for a payment break ... but I am sure that wiser people than me will be along shortly to give you a more definitive answer.

All the best

Oh the joys of moving!!! lol
I would get in touch with your ip and explain. They are the best ones to help you out.
Good luck with the new house,
xx
It's nice to be back......

If I were your IP I would allow that as necessary expenditure and allow you to deduct it from next month's contribution - to be made up by either increased contributions over the next few months or at the end of the IVA - but you will have to check this out with your own Supervisor.

Let us know the outcome in due course.
