It's all individual and while some dead on facts are ok, you need to look at your own proposal/report to see what it says.

No Dave, I don't hate it - just think that a lot of posters, especially new ones, won't even think of looking anywhere other than the main forum, as they do at the moment.

I actually meant the posts Dave rather than any of the links.

I mean that I look at the last 250 posts, check out the posts on the threads and the only other things I look at are the blogs and the 'Ask a Question' links on the left hand side of the main page.

Yes but you have over 60k posts and been a member for years so you have no reason to read frequently asked questions because you already read them in the new question section daily. To someone new to the forum they will provide knowledge comfort and guidance.
I click on Iva forum and then all questions then new questions. However all questions then frequently asked questions is where the knowledge needs to be stored
I look at all questions which takes in both new questions and social chat. You then have a list of everything that has been asked recently.
I never looked at the FAQ's, even when I first started, I waited for someone to post an answer but if you can improve them, then go ahead.

I'd have to side with Jan here. I've been a member for nearly a year always look at top 250 posts only. Can't imagine new posters do anything else as ask a question is what I did 1st time & this goes as a post.

Thousands of people must hit on this forum and each and everyone will have their own needs and requirements. I will endeavour to improve upon the F.A.Q's section as I have indicated to Admin. I was hoping that a couple of other posters would be willing to assist with their knowledge but I haven't had any further comments with offers of assistance so either they all dislike my idea or don't wish to upset you Jan. I will just have to do it on my own.
I think what your talking about is good but I would guess majority of people just ask a question then don't come back on.
Why not ask admin how many people post under 10 and don't post again - I know they could read many like I do & not post but may give you an idea of whether your ideas may work.
